How to Make a Bathroom Frame Mirror

If you are looking for an extra boost of style to your bathroom, consider a framed mirror. These mirrors come in a wide variety of sizes and shapes, giving you plenty of options. However, framed mirrors can be more expensive than their frameless counterparts. They also offer a lot of decorative appeal, as well as the possibility of hiding a countertop cabinet. In fact, you can even make a framed mirror your own by adding a little storage.
When you're ready to start the process, make sure that you're prepared with the tools you need. The first step is to cut the frame to size. This will require a miter saw or hand saw. You'll want to ensure that you cut out the frame pieces in a symmetrical manner.
Next, you'll need a large towel and a piece of cardboard to protect the mirror. Ideally, the cardboard will extend at least 1 inch beyond each side of the mirror. But if you need to improvise, make sure that you do so in a way that makes the mirror look good.
After you've made the cuts, you'll need to assemble the frame. This can be a little tricky, as you'll have to work around the mirror, but if you do it correctly, your results should be pretty impressive. To make this process easier, you may wish to use a caulk gun to apply a medium-sized bead of construction adhesive to the back of the mirror's frame.
Once the adhesive has cured, you'll need to place a thick book or a heavy object on top of the glue to ensure good adhesion. Make sure that you don't sand through the finish, as that will make the frame look sloppy. It's a good idea to use 220-grit paper to sand the edges of the frame.
Next, lay the mirror on a flat surface, and secure the edges with a thick piece of cardboard. Position the mirror to the side so that it's oriented correctly. For example, if you're putting the mirror on the wall, position it so that the sides of the mirror are the same length as the edges of the plywood.
When you're done, you'll have a great looking mirror. If you're not sure how to hang it, you can use a couple of sawtooth hooks on the back of the mirror. Or, you can mount the mirror on the wall using drywall anchors.
The bathroom is one of the most frequently used rooms in a home, and its mirror can be a very practical accessory. Mirrors are usually large, and they can reflect light and make the room look brighter. Also, they can hide a countertop cabinet if you're working with a small space. As such, they're a good choice for bathrooms that don't have a lot of storage.
Bathrooms are usually dark, but by placing a framed mirror on a wall, you can enhance its lighting. A framed mirror can also make a small bathroom look larger.
